Competition Cheer page:
(Ages 7 - 13 as of July 31st)
- Practices in August are 4 nights per week from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at a local elementary school.
- Practices beginning in September are 3 nights per week from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Location TBD by DYW Cheer Coaching Staff.
- Season runs from early August through December.
- Expected to compete in multiple cheer competitions throughout the season.
- Must have original birth certificate.
- Attendance at all football games and practices are mandatory, unless written notice is given to the head coach in advance.
- Pop Warner physical form is required for each cheerleader prior to the start of the season.
Items Needed:
- Warm ups (for 1st time registrants or if need new ones)
- Bloomers
- Underliner
- White cheer shoes (all competition cheerleaders are expected to have cheer shoes - no exceptions)
DYW Provides:
- Competition/Game Day Cheer bow
- Pink Game Day bow for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
- Uniform shell (to be returned at the end of the season)
- Uniform skirt (to be returned at the end of the season)
